World renowned LARP enthusiast Joseph Valenti has opened a LARP Park in Barnesville GA, just south of Atlanta Georgia.

Our Mission is to produce Live Adventure Games, LARP and Other Interactive Games high quality theatrical events

The LARP Park opened officially on October 03, 2009 when its staff produced a NERO LARP adventure MOdule.

Thanks to Marie Jackson being a long time NERO LARP customer and a great sport, we chose the Barony of Marentha in the Kingdom of Evendarr, a NERO LARP Chapter, to test the first set of adventures, the first one being an attack on the Orc armies which have appeared upon on her lands in the week or two before the weekend event where we placed our hooks.

NERO Atlanta Event Attendees tasted the adventure modules at the September 2009 event while it was raining like mad. We produced a series of 4 adventures modules at the September 2009 NERO LARP Atlanta event, 3 under the cover of a pavilion and 1 'on the field'. The adventurers saved 3 villages and 1 we ran 1 random combat outside the tavern – at all times did 1 or more of the lizard men ask for the heirlooms back.

We integrated the LARP modules we are producing into the NERO LARP Atlanta game by sending out multiple letters, aka status reports, about the monsters in the area. We used old looking paper and did our best to include all of the noble courts.

The adventures had no or few holds for safety, there was no 'rolling over' of the players by npc's, and we gave out at least 10 gold in treasure and 1 component per person on the module in treasure, and no one died though we gave the pc's a good adrenaline rush a few times. we used simple creatures that were affected by everything and we had a limited number of lives that the players knew about. we included a healer in our group and utilized healing though not as well as a PC team did, giving us a bit more 'lives' for our monsters by use of her remove binding, dispel magic's, cure spells, and other utility spells.

We were helped by NPC's Ken Nichols (from NERO LARP DFW) and James Russell (NERO LARP Atlanta) who both arrived to help at the start of our 2nd module and came out with positive attitudes and lots of energy, being instrumental factors in the LARP adventure modules success. It amazing how much better an adventure module can be with the addition of just 2 Actors.

The plot was simple at the event but it goes very deep. The Lizard Men were attacking Dark Elf villages, Hobling Villages and Wild Elf Villages. The village asked the adventurers for help by sending in a messenger with a gate stone and a message. "The village can only hold off the Lizard Men for 10 minutes." Turns out they are looking for their stolen Heirlooms stolen by a rather large Army of Orc's being led by a band of Robed Magicians.

All in all about 30 people went through the adventure.

We will continue to produce this plotline for the next few NERO LARP Atlanta events until it culminates (after many many wins by the pc's) at an event when they go after the big bad guy.
